We are having another Q&A session with Ashleigh from Paleo Magazine Radio today! The focus of this episode is the evolution that Ben has gone through in his training program. As a young bodybuilder and aspiring Mr. Olympia, Ben admits that he had very little space for thoughts on longevity and lifespan concerns. He was purely focussed on training as hard as possible as much as possible to reach his goals. This all changed with the birth of his children and he quite quickly found that his drive for his fitness had transitioned into a more selfless place and not quite as centered on his own body. Ben talks about hunger and satiety, the Telomeres tests that gave him a big wake up call, what allowed him to transition out of that routine and lifestyle into another one and the importance of taking the time to find meaningful replacements for that work. Ben also muses about the types of activities he sees himself doing in the coming years and both he and Ashleigh try to remember some embarrassing stories from their bodybuilder days! For all that and more, tune in with us today!
