Since the release of AI, everything has changed.
If you’re like me, you grew up in the “pre technology world”.
If I needed to learn, I hauled a book bag as heavy as my little sister home from the library and (often angrily) poured through 7-10 books to write a simple paper on the anatomy of a frog.
Now, we have super computers in our hands. The rate of learning is mind bending.
When I was younger, I was the fat kid.
Not chubby.. F.A.T.
Everything seemed hard and that became part of my identity.
I was obese, tired, and lazy…
Just like every person in my family.
I assumed that’s just how I was built.. I was dealt a bad genetic hand.
As I got older that belief stuck with me, and I HATED IT.
So I pursued bodybuilding, and if you know my history at all, I did pretty well. Making it into the top 10 in the world, even fighting against what I thought were terrible genes.
I’d watch guys preparing for the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding, the Mr Olympia contest, crushing pizza, burgers and fries days before stepping out on stage.
Meanwhile, I was stuffing vacuum sealed chicken breast and boiled cod into my suitcase while traveling the world just so i would not be a fatass.
“They’re genetically blessed, and I’m not.” was always my belief.
Since everyone in my family is obese, I thought it was my destiny. I fought against my genes daily.
And in some ways, I was right. But not in the way I thought.
I’ve learned that this isn’t about “good” or “bad” genetics.
There’s a common story most men tell themselves when nothing else seems to work…
“Those guys take “gear”.
“I eat clean, but I just don’t lose fat easily”
“I have bad genetics.”
“I dont have time, I have kids and a job”.
If that’s crossed your mind, I get it. That was my paradigm for over 20 years.
But here’s what I’ve learned in the last 18 months working with thousands of men that has blown my mind…
You don’t have bad genes.
I don’t have bad genetics.
In fact, what if there is NO such thing as bad genetics?
Instead, there is only living out of alignment with your genes. 🤯
For the last 12 months, I’ve been working closely with a team of geneticists from the University of Oxford in the UK to identify the 17 genes that impact whether you have “good genes” and “bad genes” when it comes to building muscle, losing fat, and living long.
And once you understand how to read the genetic map, everything changes.
Your genes aren’t a fixed sentence.
They’re a starting point.. a blueprint that influences what actually works FOR YOU!
What determines your results is how that blueprint is expressed when it interacts with your lifestyle, diet, and environment.
And how I’ve helped hundreds of high-performing men go from stuck, foggy, and frustrated… to dialed in, lean, and performing at their highest level again.
On the next blog, I’ll walk you through the 17 Performance Genes that impact how fast you build muscle, how quickly you recover, how well you handle stress, and whether your system runs like a Ferrari or a Corolla with the parking brake on.

P.S. This is the single most important breakthrough of my career.
